Itinerary
Arrive Srinagar airport, assistance on arrival & proceed to Hotel and after fresh up proceed for Srinagar is also known as “Paradise on Earth” & “Venice of Asia “.Afternoon Visit to famous Mughal Gardens, Nishat(Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar ( Abode of Love) Mughal laid Out in the 16th century ,Botanical Garden ,Pari Mahal& these fall along the bank OF Dal-Lake in the heart of Srinagar City &Shankaracharya Temple located on a hillock, thus providing panoramic view of entire City, along with famous Dal-Lake & River Jhelum, evening return back to Hotel for Dinner & overnight stay in Hotel.
After breakfast drive to Sonamarg which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way we stop at many beautiful spots. Continue drive to Sonamarg the total distance of 80 kms will be covered in 3 hours. Sonamarg is also the take of station for the drive to Ladakh across the Zojila, a major pass in the great Himalayan range, Sonamarg is known as gateway of Ladakh. In the evening return to Srinagar overnight stay in hotel.
After breakfast drive to Gulmarg the meadows of flowers 2730 metres, above sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in 2 hours it has delightful ski slopes and the highest 18-hole golf course of the world. If weather permits, you can also have view of Nanga Parbat. The view enwrote from Tang Marg to Gulmarg is magnificent. Evening back to Srinagar overnight stay in hotel.
After breakfast drive to Pahalgam (valley of shepherds). The distance of about 100 kms will be covered in about 2- 1/2hrs. Enroute visiting Saffron fields, Awantipora ruins (1100 yrs old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiverma), see the beautiful countryside on the way and a lot of rice fields. Drive through pine forests. After lunch, have bridle walks and feed your cameras with the picture of magnificent views of mountains. One can visit Aru Valley, Betaab Valley and Chand Anwari by hiring Local Union Cab(own cost)or ponies(Horses).After completion return back to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Pahalgam Hotel.
